Made INLAND - KooCoo's first show!

Kathryn Rebecca and Koocoo Carrillo are pleased to announce that we will be doing a show together! We have found that our pieces compliment each other and are looking forward to having a booth together at Inland. INLAND is a 2-day, curated shopping event featuring 80 independent Canadian designers of apparel and accessories for men and women. Meet the designers and makers of the clothes you buy while exploring and interacting with the many Style + Design stations set-up throughout. All collections are made in Canada.

Find out about INLAND's indegogo campaign to help promote the show here.

Bring your man along too! There will be tons of Canadian made goodies for him as well.

Pick up discounted tickets ahead of time here.

Hope to see you there!

More is MORE

Layer it up!

Inspired by the beautiful Blake Lively !

Well I've always thought more is MORE, but recently it seems we are steering towards the layered look! Here are a few tips to help things stay on the beautifully layered side rather than getting tooooo crazy!;)

Mix Materials well pairing pieces with the same overall style - in this case nautical !

Mix Metals!  Silver, Brass or gold mix it all together!  If you do a longer piece with colour (as seen here with gemstones) then maybe keep the other necklace plain in order to ensure they compliment each other -not compete!
Okay get a little crazyyyY!  Just try to keep it in the same colour family!

Again try to keep the colours in the same family and only 1 of the 2-3 pieces with bright colour!
You can layer on patterns as well but it's easiest on a solid colour.;)

Play Play Play!  Keep trying new combinations and you'll come up with a couple of your favourites that you can constantly be adding to or taking away from depending on your outfit!

We are always inspired by our fashionista clients - show us your creativity by posting your layered looks on our Facebook page!

Fresh!

Scarf Basics: How To

There are lots of fun tutorials online for tying a scarf in various ways around your neck.
Especially on Pinterest!
Here is our version with a new line of Ice Dyed Scarves in one of a kind prints and colours.

Here is a little small Tutorial on how to braid a square scarf.
The first step is to fold the square scarf in half so it forms a triangle and then wrap the two long ends around your neck.
